Morgan North

This massive ten-floor building with soaring ceiling heights of up to 17ft, originally constructed in 1933, encompasses an entire city block between Ninth and Tenth Avenues from 29th to 30th Streets.  MDA in conjunction with Design Architect, Shimoda Design Group and Landscape Architect, HMWhite, have designed the renovation of the tenant spaces, as well as 5,000 SF of ground level retail spaces, and three entrance lobbies.  The adaptive reuse and redevelopment of the US Post Office Services (USPS) Morgan North Processing and Distribution Center features the largest green roof deck in Manhattan.
