What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?

My most significant recent project was the 18,000 s/f office expansion for the Innocence Project. Our team designed a modern and functional workplace, balancing the need for both private offices and open collaboration areas. It was very rewarding to help the organization famed for freeing the innocent, who were erroneously accused and convicted.

What 3 skills do you consider the most important to be successful in your industry?

Teamwork, communication, and attention to details all in correlation with each other to successfully deliver a project from paper to a physical structure. These proved particularly important during my recent work helping design five ZARA stores throughout the U.S., as those projects involved collaborating with large teams based on two continents.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I became a mother of twins during the COVID pandemic, so my motherhood experience is not typical. Safety is still my priority. These days, I bring the twins out sporadically to socially interact with other people, whether at the park, indoor playground, or simply grocery shopping. I enjoy seeing their curiosity and reaction when meeting and seeing new people and places. When working, I strive to learn new things, outside of work, I want to encourage my kids to explore.
